I don't know how that happened. It was like getting run over. We have a really good friend who loves flowers and who keeps a beautiful wild flower garden in her back yard. The newspapers came to photograph it. I was looking for a flower I could shoot at night. I wanted a night effect. What got me thinking about that was the Steichen photograph with the moon over the water. The mystery and the magic of that. I wanted to get a flower like that.
